Intro to Medical Coding students will attend classes online and have an instructor led course, in which they will be trained in medical coding as it relates to ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding.

How does WPCCollege work?

The tuition for the Intro to Medical Coding  course includes one attempt for the AAPC National CPC exam, AAPC textbook/workbook, ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS coding books , and 1st yr AAPC membership.

Students are required to have Internet access and access to a computer (desktop or laptop) for the course. The school does not provide these items. All other online resources will be provided by the school and are included in the tuition (online platforms, virtual meeting rooms, lectures, PowerPoints, etc.).

What does the tuition cover?

Yes, students can retake exam however there may be  additional cost. *Only one exam attempt is included in course tuition.*

Can I retake the exam if I fail on first attempt?

The cost for tutoring varies; depending on what area of tutoring is needed. The cost ranges from $25-$40/hr. *Minimum tutoring session is an hour.*

How to access online classes? What time?

Intro to Medical Coding course is 6 months. The AAPC National CPC exam will be taken online and proctored by AAPC. Students will be eligible to take national exam once they have successfully completed the course.

Semesters

Spring Starts: January or February

Fall Starts: August or September

Some semesters may include breaks for holidays.

Students for the  Intro to Medical Coding course will follow class syllabus that will be sent to the student upon successful enrollment and before the first day of classes.  In additon to the online coursework, students are required to meet with the instructor once per week virtually. The time will be scheduled by the instructor.

The online classroom link will be provided to enrolled students before the start of classes.

*Students will also be provided access to the student section on our website. 

Online Tuition Cost

The cost for online Intro to Medical Coding course is $3900 including cost of books. A non-refundable deposit fee of $500 is required to enroll in the course (deposit is applied toward total tuition). Students can pay tuition in full or apply for installment plan.

*Online self-pay students are eligible for discount of $500 for new enrollment. Please enter discount code INTRO24 on registration application. Students receiving financial assistance or using Afterpay/Klarna are not eligible for discount.
