Vickie A. Williams, BSBM, CPC, CPC-I, CHAA

Vickie Williams is a native of Little Rock, AR. She is a graduate of McClellan

Magnet High School. She later attended the University of Arkansas at

Little Rock (UALR) but completed her degree at the University of

Phoenix where she obtained a Bachelors of Science in Business

Management. Vickie completed Management Academy at the

University of AR for Medical Sciences (UAMS) and obtained her

Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) certificate

through the National Association of Healthcare Access Management

(NAHAM). Vickie obtained her Certified Professional Coder

(CPC) and Certified Professional Coder Instructor (CPC-I)

certifications through the American Academy of Professional

Coders (AAPC). She is also ICD-10 certified.

Vickie has more than 15 years experience in coding and billing.

Through various positions she has held over her career such as:

Clinic Manager, Billing Specialist, Manager of Coding, Practice

Administrator, and HCC Coder she has a vast array of knowledge in medical

coding and billing.

Vickie has used her expertise in medical coding and billing to help train and manage other coders and medical staff for several healthcare facilities inside and outside of Arkansas.

​

Vickie is passionate about medical coding and billing and desires to teach others more about this growing field in the healthcare industry. She states, "Williams Professional Coding College is my way of sharing with others the blessing I received of having a successful career in medical coding. I want to inspire and encourage others who are seeking a career to work hard and know God has a plan for you."
